So I getting pretty sick of the abs in my vr. It's starting to act up and go off for no reason and I hate how it looks in my bay. So I'm looking for a mk3 non abs brake booster, master cylinder, and a rear proportioning valve. If anyone has any of those things for sale I'm real interested.

I feel your pain. Mine is acting up also. ABS light is on and the light will flicker and the ABS will lightly jab the brakes. I got a couple of new sensors and hoping that they will take care of it. Good luck with the swap.

How about checking the sensors and trigger wheels?

I think they may get frozen up. It happened once or twice last winter. I'm just sick of abs and how cluttered it makes my bay. So I'm just going to get rid of it.

Are you still looking for this?
I've got a beat up 95 in the driveway. But the brakes work. So it's all there
Lemme know

I just got my parts like an hour ago! Where are you located? I still need the front drivers side hard line. And the rear proportioning valve for the rear brakes I think. Does anyone know how bad it would be to run without a rear prop valve?

Yikes! It will probably work fine and lull you into a false sense of security... until you really need your brakes and then the rears lock before the fronts :( I messed around with the adjustable prop valve of my old 914 and having brake bias wrong is no good.

That all said, I know nothing about the brakes on your specific car (e.g. if there is a prop valve, etc.) but if there is supposed to be a prop. valve and you delete it make sure to raise your insurance limits.

The abs works as a prop valve. As far as I have read any abs mk3 after 95 doesn't have a rear prop vale. I have been thinking about picking up a aftermarket valve from summit but if your willing to part with yours I would way rather keep it semi oem.
