For those curious, my rabbit's tenure of terror is over, going a different direction this winter, making more of a driver out of it, She will always be the elusive black rabbit around these parts! seems like everyone has seen/heard it screaming by, or those who got to experience her in the prime can attest its notoriety. The powerplant will remain 16v but with weber sidedrafts further making the bay even cleaner, a color change is in order as well as an ass ton of sound deadening material and maybe even a re-stich of the interior is on the docket.

Wish I had extra cash for some of this stuff. Whatcha doing now?

2 things, switching to a weber dual side draft carb setup, a full respray in Inari Silver, and an interior in the rabbit
and progress is ongoing with the short wheel base sport quattro audi build. its getting wossner forged pistons, ARP everything, already shortened the body shell 12.5 inches, integrated engineering rods, race bearings, a precision billet 6566 turbo, tubular manifold, sheet aluminum intake, ported and polished heads with custom grind cams, race bearings, aka the works, power goal between 7-800 HP also switching the car to quattro, which is an ass ton of work. hard lining the radiator to the trunk, fuel cell, a cage straight outta the wrc. custom steering, maybe even electric power steering from a polo or opel. its a long running project but its been pretty fun so far, esp making a long car short haha.

Also FWIW, electric power steering from a late gen MR2 is apparently pretty easy to adapt and is from this side of the pond...it's a little loud, but not for the car it would be going in...
