Thank you, That's what I was thinking and for the price I paid, which was cheaper than any VW or Audi anywhere. as long as it runs well I'm going to keep it for a long time.

Rust that hood, son.

I want to do something really cool. I wish I could fix the rust on the rear quarters and I'd love to sand the whole car to look like the hood and have some local artists paint it up. I might linex it instead. I'd like to fix the rust before we move back to the salt land.

So after some things have changed in my life. I need to sell my Mercedes to upgrade. Would anyone on here be interested. It's about the same condition, I did put some paint on the hood and covered up the bare rust spots. The body is ugly but the interior is good and it runs awesome. I'm looking to upgrade to a newer E class AWD wagon, ML or an R. Would anyone be interested. It is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven and it goes down the highway like a dream.

Yeah I wasn't sure where. There isn't a section for German cars besides VWs and Audis. I think there should be a more diverse Euro section too. After all if it wasn't for Mercedes VW wouldn't exist. Thanks for the input Mike. I'll move it.

There are sections for other Euro cars, and they are always welcome, but this site is pretty much always has been just for Audi/VW enthusiasts. It's encouraged to branch out into other makes and models too
