So seeing as it is not a dub or audi. I wasn't sure here to put this.
I was wondering if anyone has dealt with cancer a lot. I can replace the fenders but the quarters im not sure what do do. I was going to sand it to metal apply por15 and the repaint.
Any ideas.

You would have to grind it down to see how much sheet metal is actually bad.

Thats what I was wondering. I was thinking just sand down to metal. I have a grinder just don't trust myself. I dont want to cause a bunch of holes but need to fix it.

Sweet I'll have to get one thank you. Is that the exact one you use. It seems as if 60 grit is a little rough. That's what I was hoping someone had done before.

That wasn't the same one I used but it looked just like it. I don't remember the grit, but i got the wheel at walmart. its the skilsaw brand one. even if its a heavy grit, it won't eat through good metal unless you really work at it. Just start off slow with low pressure.

I didn't mean a grinding wheel. Use an abrasive wheel. The same I use on my Beetle.
