I have had this car since January of 2009 so about 7 years it has been good to me. Located in Fairview/Sidney but will be back in Billings through the New Year.
Bought it at 60k and it made a lot of trips from Billings to Great Falls and back and forth from Billings to Laurel. Would keep but want/need a Tacoma. Always used synthetic oil (Amsoil/ Mobil 1) It is getting close to the next timing belt service. This would be great for someone needing a commuter car (like I used it for) and had some spare time to fix the little things. Would be a great first car great mileage, safe, and not fast. I'm not sure on a price really NADA say 2300 ish
I think all and all a fair price would be 2000 OBO I'm open to offers
Quick craigslist there is project one for 2700 which is insane overpriced
Other Wolfsburgs are listed at close to 4000 with about the same mileage
2001 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition
Black with tan interior
145,000 miles
1.8T
5 Speed
Sport suspension car
Sunroof
Recaro seats
Good Stuff:
Good tires maybe have 10k or less on them
Have a set wheels with snow tires also that will go with it
Still has the BBS RX-II wheels on it
Podi boost gauge
2.0T coils with IE adapters
Black Forest Industries Dogbone mount stage 1
Koni Orange struts and shocks less than year old
Finally fixed the throttle body issue with a new harness
Front bumper, grill, drivers side fender were replaced a year ago (accident parking lot no speed)
On my last trip from Sidney to Billings I averaged 33 mpg running 80 mph so really decent mileage
Not so good stuff:
Currently has a coolant leak from the coolant flange parts are on the way will be fixed before selling.
Has a check engine light its a VW for the Secondary Air Injection pump (always been on havent worried)
Cracked windshield I'm short and see under it.
One of the door modules must be bad it thinks the door is open for the dome light (easy fix)
Pop in front end on the passenger side I believe it to be the control arm bushing (have ball joints and control arm bushings)
Drivers door shell has cracking bondo
Passenger side window won't roll down (probably regulator haven't had time to look)
Trunk lid has rust on bottom of it
Drivers seat kinda beat up not tore though
Armrest of course needs help or deleted
