I've had my eye on 2 of them here in mso. A red one and a grey one. Haven't seen the red one in a while but the grey one can be seen occasionally at the southside walmart. I think the owner works there. I should leave them a note next time I see it to see if they'd consider selling it.

Awesome, they aren't very common, ive travelled a lot, and even sometimes the sole purpose to find cars, and I have most makes/models in the memory bank, but no 4000... I wanted a mk2 golf to build again at some point, but find myself reaching for the 4000, to me its the AWD mk2 equivalent of audi.

I've always wanted one too. My buddies neighbor had one growing up and I lusted after it. Just such a good looking car imo. Not to mention the quattro with locking diffs.
