I don't know if there are many people active on BSE these days but here it goes..
It has come time to thin the herd. With that said, for sale is my beloved B3 1992 VW Passat CL in Tornado Red. It is equipped with the 2.0L 16V gas engine with Techtonics Tuning chip, sport cams and 2.25" cat-back exhaust with a Borla muffler. Manual 5 speed transmission. At about 210K MI the engine and transmission were pulled for some revamping, head was removed and gone thru. Received new valve seals, valve lap, cams, new piston rings and a cylinder hone. A new clutch, clutch master cylinder, new motor mounts and subframe poly bushings were fitted at this time as well. Suspension setup is H&R sport lowering springs on Bilstein shocks with less than 50K MI on suspension. Brembo rotors and pads on all four corners with less than 10K MI on them, new hand brake cables too. Rear wheel bearings, clutch slave cylinder and heater core have been recently replaced as well as many other components throughout my ownership. Everything functions as it should with exception of the AC which is an old R12 refrigerant system but I do have all of the parts to convert it to a 134A system. It also has a nice aftermarket stereo with 2 amps and 10" sub. Interior and exterior rate at 7/10, clear-coat has some issues and there are a couple small chip tumors as can be seen in the photos. I have owned this car for just shy of 20 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it, I just don't drive her enough to justify keeping her around. She is reliable, relatively simple and a hoot to drive. I have many new and used parts that will join her on the new journey.
