1st Official Mk1 Scirocco Build (Updated)

Picked up an '81 Scirocco with stock a/c last week for $100.
The 1.6 ran great except for the blown head gasket. Thanks to Brandon and Matt though I will be throwing in a 1.8 in great condition and I have my eyes on a possible 16v donor car...So wish me luck with that!
The DS rear window is shattered but other than that not many problems. Finally a 'rocco with no electrical problems!
This week I'm dropping the engine and will be cleaning the 1.8 as well as the engine bay.
5/31/07
The bay is clean and almost all of the parts are ready to go back on the engine. Waiting on a some parts money now!
7/7/07
8v in, running great but needs a tune-up bad. Brakes are good now thanks to some help from B-dub with bleeding them.
A/C-less now. I'm working on my custom cold-air intake this week as well.
Everyone is welcome to stop by and go for a ride sometime!
If anyone is going to Helena sometime soon let me know as I would love to get the peice of glass I need from Kevin.
In the next couple weeks I'm hoping to get her down on the ground so any help from anyone would be appreciated.
Next after slamming it is painting the wheels and putting the new brake pads on.
*Update and Photos Coming Soon*
