okay finally got the rabbit i found months ago, a 78 with pretty minimal rust.

here is where i found it

here is the trip home, trusty old subie...

here is the new motor it came with (for sale)

progress already, thanks stoney and matt!

a quick shot of the bus with the new tires

and after inspection of the old motor and seeing the carnage i dicided to make a funny animal pic

lets see that

little more is getting done as we speak, got the dash out the old was extremely dry rotted and huge cracks i forgot how simple the wiring is in an unmolested rabbit! even with the aftermarket cruise control! (removed) by tonight the engine bay should be completely degreased and shinny once more. pics soon!

I had dibs on the seats but decided to get the Recaros re-upholstered instead. Gave me a sick idea though. Got anything for me to do tonight Brandon?
