So, what oil and filter brand do you guys run in your VW's?

What does the 24v happen to be in? If Its missing one day you know where to look.

3.2, same motor as in the .:R32. Just turned sideways.

Brand: Valvoline Synthetic or Mobile 1, probably going to use Elf next change
Weight: 5W-40, or 0w-40, might try 5w-50 next summer
Oil Filter: OEM
Change Interval: 3500-7500, depending on usage. A sample from each change goes to Blackstone Labs for analysis
Miles: ~49500
Renn, that Rabbit engine must be pretty tight if you can get away with 10-30 in the summer. Both my Rabbit and my 16v GTI needed 20-50 to keep the pressure up when it got hot, both had well over 100k on the engine.
