i was looking at where i could put my cai to get the best air flow and the stock box uses a spot right behind my headlight it looks like is there any way i could put my filter right in that little area or would a short cai be fine. i really want to get the intake upgraded but im not sure which to go with either.

I think it was Roadhog who said it best the the first thread about the CAI.
To sum it up - the best spot for a CAI is down by the radiator in the front of your fender well. The point of CAI is to have cold air...not air from the engine bay, which is hot. So, get a long arm CAI and route it where it supposed to go - short arm does no good and you may as well run stock.

OMG - another CAI thread...I thought people only got it so they can hear the pressure discharge from a 1.8T or 2.0T?
