Northwest European regrets to announce that the 2008 waterwagens event has been cancelled. Due to scheduling conflicts with the venue, we are sorry to announce that the 2008 event will not be held. waterwagens has become known as the premier and largest west coast event for VW and Audi enthusiasts and it is disappointing that the 2008 event will not be held, however, it was a decision that had to be made at this time.

We are evaluating our options for 2009 and thank you for all of your support over the years and into the future.

Sincerely,

The staff at Northwest European

It it always worth the drive, even though it almost ALWAYS rains. SO pack both a camelbak and an umbrella, you maiy need either.

With kudos my buddy Ben, he is the 3 year running champion in the valve cover races with his over engineered RENNWAGENS edition 8v valve cover. He is unstoppable!

Take one 8v valve cover

Attach wheels on it some how, paint it up, pimp your valve cover!

Put it at the top of an incline.

RACE!!

It is basically the pinewood cerby for grown ups.

Ben is a mechanical engineer for an aerospace firm and way overengineered his racer and owns all. He usually changes it some every year and just gets faster.

IIRC it has to be an 8v to fit in the width of the track it runs down. a 16v and 20v cover would be way to wide, but I am not sure on aircooled covers.
