My car hesitates like a mofo for no reason now. Its only in certain rpms, like 2nd gear from 2.5k to 3.8ish it runs like shit.... Very weird... gonna check the tires to make sure they're not a problem. But idle it runs like a little baby... smooth =)

Is this happening after your 4x4 trip up hyalite? :)

But it was all powder and super soft fluffy snow, I thought it would be ok?

Could it be the coilpacks again? I mean I replaced them a month ago, so they should be fine right? They are oem, should I have gone with the Bremi Coilpacks? Or the Hitachi Stage 1's?

It's going to be hard to diagnose without scanning for codes. If you can get it scanned - see if you have any stored and post them up.

Aww, Mike, you know that every member on every forum in the world can diagnose any problem by simply having a rudimentary description of what the problem might be, or the sound it makes!

Doesn't run = coilpacks

Makes a funny noise when I drive = wheel bearings

etc, etc, etc.....

Another possibility...

When my 96 Golf GL with the 2.0 started acting up, it would not run well between 2200 and 3000 RPMs. It would idle great. If I stepped on it over 3500 it would take off. But trying to do 25mph down Durston was not great. It would cough and sputter. As it turned out, both of the oxygen sensors were non responsive. What baffled me is that they would not trip the check engine light unless I tried to drive out to Belgrade and back. It was not easy to diagnose so I had to take it in so that the mechanic could monitor the responses while the car was running. Expensive sensors, but now it runs like a champ.
