My Electrical Instructor at Spokane Community College Auto Tech. school has a 56 bug that faster than hell!!!

That doesn't count.......they stuffed a V-8 in that bug!!!!! Jeff's is using a VW engine (from a bus)

No shit, you go there? I did the first year of auto body there....
Yeah, if I remember correctly, he uses a bored and stroked water cooled vanagon motor, with 2.8 liters. I think he and the machine shop instructors CNCed the heads as well. Oh, the motor is topped with a pair of 1200cfm 2bbl webers.

Yep...2.8. He also has his "street" bug he has had since H.S.
And I graduated last June with my A.A.S. in Auto Technology
