OK,
So here is the new project.
Going back to my roots finally!
Been searching for a MKI bunny and this one happened to fall right into my lap at the perfect time.
This car has definately been around the block and I am sure alot of you have seen it already.
It will definataly be going through it's biggest changes in it's life now that I have it. Alot of plans are already in motion.
It's rough right now but it's exactly what I was looking for.

So there she is.
My diamond in the rough.
I'll be towing her home tomorrow and start stripping it down.
I'll start a progress thread sometime later this week.

Very nice! Looks really clean.

Did you notice any gain in HP with the catback? Noise? I've been thinking about getting a new setup, but it's my daily right now and don't want to make myself more deaf.

We can call it a GTI I guess...the 4 door version. :p

My question, is why the intake is still sitting on the floor. That would take maybe an hour to intstall....... :D

P.S. that thing looks much better with the suspention in,, but now you should lower it.

Might be a 4 door GTI after engine swap next year. Right now it's a 2.slo

The catback is still sitting on my living room floor. I'll let you know when I get it in though if it makes much difference. I know it will improve the sound alot but not sure about performance especially with this engine. We'll see I guess.
See above RE: GTI :unibrow:

Thanks man!

Thanks, I thought so too! Got too good of a deal on them to pass up and they turned out perfect!

I have no excuses on the CAI. Especially considering I had the battery out to do the HID conversion. :banghead:
I'm afraid to lower it anymore, we do live in Missoula ya know! I know you know the roads around here! :\

Lol - I read that as you had the coilovers on the floor waiting to be installed. So, I'm backwards as usual.
