Oh man James I have taken my dash off so many times it ridiculously easy.
Open the passengers door and pop off the black "D" shaped cover...You will see one T10(?) Torx - leave it alone for now.
Open your glove box door and you will see three T20 screws - take them out.
Just below the door you will see 3 more torx - remove those.
Here's the tricky part: There is one screw underneath the trim that sits directly under the HVAC controls. You need to pop the plastic cover off first - that cover sits directly above the ashtray cover but below the controls. Basically reach under that trim and pull straight out. It will come out and you will see one more torx screw on the right hand side, and it's a tricky little bastard.
Now you can unscrew the T10 torx at the end of the dash I spoke about earlier and the dash will pull towards the back of the car and out of the passenger side. That last screw under the HVAC has a tab attached to it so watch for that.
Now you should have your glove box and lower dash out. The door is held in by plastic "pins" and you will see a spring damper on the right hand side - ditch that piece of shit like an old girlfriend. That is the reason it broke...right?
Take the pins out, and slide the new door in place. Slide the pins back in, and use a screwdriver inserted into one of the hollow ends to pop the pin into it's seat. Don't hook up the spring damper - you'll be fine without it.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Now, for the lock...I think I have a decent picture from the repair book.
Oh, I see Joe posted the vortex link. Well, I suppose that works too, but also with no pics. It's better than my crazy directions...well if you want more help let me know.
I'm loling right now cause now Joe's post magically disappeared.
