i was just going to see if anyone knew if a 24v gli vr6 and the tranny would fit right into my car because i am looking to get a lesser mileage engine and why not upgrade right?

Not sure what car you have so its tough to say.
But you are talking about "upgrading" from a 12v VR6 to a 24v VR6 I wouldn't bother. You would be better off changing the cams in the 12v, IMHO.
Unless along with those extra 12 valves you also get an extra 400cc ;)

It's just getting broken in. As long as you do the timing guides and chains (I think you said that was done already?) I say you will have very few problems. Joe's right too, and extra 12v will not do anything for you, but new cams, intake/exhaust and a chip would give you respectable gains.

BTW - I saw you called over the weekend. Wasn't avoiding...I don't usually keep my phone on me, and I have a couple of kids that keep me busy. Did you need something? If so it's best to post up here - your question will get answered faster, and the other guys are much more knowledgeable.
