Here it is I want to sell my GLI, it has some mechanical work as most of you know of, but there are a ton of extras put on it that I could tell you about. I'm asking $1500.00 for you guys in the club, but if I sell it to someone herew I'll ask 2000-2500. It is getting worse so I want to sell it soon before it does not run any more and I have to lower the price.
G60pig I'm very sorry but I have decided to keep the car. I got to thinking and as much as I want a newer Jetta, I can't get rid of my current cars too. Plus I can't see myself being tied down to a car payment for the next few years, when even though I'll have to get a loan of some sort to fix my GLI I'll have the loan paid for in a lot less time. I was on the fence for awhile but keeping it is what makes the most sence so I'm sorry if I got any hopes up.
Oh I wouldnt keep that heap!!! Sonds like a lemon to me. You should sell it while you can! Ahh just kidding good luck with getting it all running again. Thanks for the teaser
Well if you put it that way how much were you going to pay me. I was given offer for $2500 from some body who has the check ready.
I am either going to sell it or keep it depending on what the bank tells me they will give me. I want to keep it but can't afford to fix it so I need to rely on a loan, but because of the amount our bank does not neccessarily give loans on small amount unless they have collateral. So I appologize forthe wishy washyness, but right now i'm still not sure what to do. I love it but I kind of want either an MK III VR or an MK IV Wolfsburg, GLI, or VR. I have been looking through North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Montana, but it has to be rust free so Minnesota is out and possible this part of Nodak they use too much salt on the roads and the rust is crazy bad on cars here.
I just wanted to say it may or not be for sale still.
