If you found a MKII that already had a diesel in it, yes it would be possible to run bio diesel. Any diesel engine can run on bio diesel. There are some things to consider when you run biodiesel though. Depending on the concentration of bio to petrol, you'll have to watch your seals. You can probably run B5 to B20 in your engine and never see any problems. You start getting into higher concentrations, such as running straight B100, then you have to keep an eye on your pump seals, hoses etc.

There's allot of information out there on the web if you do some searching.

Just so you know, bio diesel is going to cost you more than regular diesel. So if you're looking at it for cost savings, then it's not the way to go. But if you're looking at it for environmental reasons, it's a good way to go.

There are people out there who've swapped newer TDI's into other vehicles. It's definitely possible, it comes down to how much are you willing to $$.

As far as being fast, that's hard to answer. My '03 is suprisingly quick, and I've gone as fast as 125 mph in it. But there are many factors that will affect the speed.
