99 Jetta Cat removal question.

Does reaming out/removing thh cat fuck up the O2 sensors at all?
Need an answer ASAP.

It will mess up the readings from the O2 after the cat

I know they make a plug in that will mimick the sensor so your car's computer will think everything is OK. I don't know where to get one though.
