Ok so I was cruising the web tonight and saw some sweet MKIV pics, one had removed their side markers and had MKIV style mirrors. My questions for those who know more than I, could a person do this and re-route the wires from the fenders to the mirrors, or how would the wiring work? Just curious on how easy it is to do?
As always thanks for the input.

The wiring itself would not be that difficult, but it would take some time. Are you lookin got add the t/s light to the circuit, or do you want to replace the sidemarker altogether. You could wire the sidemarker to be a parking light, and wire the t/s into the mirror, if you want also. that way the mirror would only blink when you hiit the turn signal. You would have to start at the parking lihgt/turnsignal wiring up at the headlight and work your way back. You would have to run the t/s wiring back into the cabin, through the door boot and up to the t/s light in the new mirror. Not impossible, just time consuming.
