so with mine and matts project on the slow right now, building money for a spring showing... we decided to do a little side project, with the only other vw we have. im not going to give it all away but lers just say another winters worth of body work and another respray, with a little "twist"

Alright... I will throw-out a guess.
The rear engine, rear wheel drive rabbit is getting front engine, front wheel drive as well.
Two engines and drive systems are beter than one and you always have a spare.
Am I close?

no twin engines, just a new engine (larger) probably 1.8 on large dual carbs 45 dcoe's locked diff, shaved engine bay now TRUNK with floor probably using a beetle gas tank, complete respray with a twist.
