Well I was having the same problems in my shop truck so I changed out the thermostat tonight, and voila! I have a truck that actually warms up to operating temp now! And just in time for those fukin chilly mornings we are having!!

well figured out its the axillary water pump thats out along with the control module for the pump so yeah the beetles coming out for a week since the parts arnt gonna be in for a week

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that guy. Nice and expensive also! And oh yeah, you are not going to trade me cars. Mine likes it too much in the "warmish" garage. Not outside.

tha aux water pump does not affect the heater. Mine was unhooked when I bought the car and the heat still blew hot. Its only purpose is to circulate coolant through the engine when it is turned off.

yes spence but if you notice the aux coolent pump gos right in to one of the heater core lines :nod:
i can't spell but if you stare at it long enuff it looks like a hiden vr6

Yes I know, but it shouldn't affect how hot your heat blows.

but if it is not spining it will restrict the flow of coolent to that area and will only blow warm not hot beleave me i no but you can tack it out and hook the two lines together and have hot air just no engine cool down after run
