New here...Just found the site.
Anyway, I just bought a 2001 VW Jetta GLS Wagon. This is the first VW I have ever owned...So far I really like it.
All the plastic coverings on the seat belt latch receivers was broken off before I bought it. Is there anyway to replace that, or will I need to buy 5 new receivers? Anyone know where to get these for a decent price? I think 4 seasons here in Missoula wants around 80$ each.
Since I have always owned Toyotas, I have good references and resources for info and parts on those. Now I need to start collecting info on VW's...good mechanics, parts resources, etc.
Glad I found this site. Thanks for any help.

Re: Seat Belt Parts
Welcome - another wagon owner! You should be able to replace it - IIRC you need to replace the entire assembly, as it doesn't come apart, or if it does it would break plastic tabs or something. If you check out the Vortex classys you should be able to find someone parting out a rig, and you should be able to get one out of a sedan or wagon as I believe they are the same. If your interior is tan I may have the part you are looking for, as I have a set of front seats left over from my interior swap, and I think I have the rear sets somewhere... Assuming it a front belt receiver, the assembly bolts into the seat with a T30(?) and you'll need to take the seat out, which is also easy. The rear just bolt down into the body.

Re: Seat Belt Parts
Found some receivers from a '99 Passat GLS. Do you guys think that they will be interchangeable with my '01 Jetta GLS?
They look the same, but I can't tell for sure without taking them out etc...
