My new B6 Avant - 2003 1.8TQ

Post by Mikewire »

Hey guys, I finally got the pictures off my camera so I thought I would post em up. I found a 2003 A4 Avant 1.8T Quattro Tiptronic (B6) 2000 miles away, haggled on the price and eventually had it shipped here. So far it's been awsome and I've only had it for a week. Here are a few pics of it being unloaded and from when I got it home:

So far the mods are: K&N drop in, Podi column pod and prototype boost gauge, Optima Red Top,City light + fog mod, SPP Tip Mod which allows me to use the shift knob below:

Future mods are new tires, Revo Stg 1, test pipe, Apikol snub mount. More in the future as my budget allows.

Couple of things I added - I finally got my Podi boost guage and column pod done and the gauge replaced after a week and a half of back and forth. It still shows +2 PSI with the car off but I can live with that ugh.

Image

The gauge is a little bright so I think I can pick up a small resistor and add it inline to dim it just a bit.

Image

Here's the SPP Tip mod installed - I have a little adjustment to do but i think it looks pretty good. I plan to brush the chrome shift gate with some 3M so it takes the shine off and gives it a brushed look.

Image

That's it for now - i have some Audi monster mats coming and the HID kit as well.
