Maybe I'm a getting too old and lazy, but I actually really like the tip so far. When I need to go into a (faux) manual I can, or I can use sport mode which is kinda nice too. It looks and feels way better than the stock knob, plus I can run any knob I want now and I'm not stuck with one.

So what is your car boosting now? minus the plus two your nice boost gauge adds =)

Looking sweet by the way, but there is nothing to replace the fun of actually pushing in the clutch and shifting manually.
not for me in any case.

Stock is 8psi, so a flash will wake up the turbo a lot. And I agree about the manual shift, but with this car it's just fun to drive, and it's totally different than my Jetta - you took it for a spin so I bet you know what I mean. I've noticed the guys who knock tiptronic are the guys with the least experience driving with them.

No, I agree with you Mike, I really like my 4Motion in the Treg. It does everything I need it to, and I also have a sport and an auto-stick mode. Works just fine. DOn't get me wrong, I still love to beat the hell out of a manual, but maybe we are just getting to be the "old salts" around here......married and families and all..... :unibrow:

WERD. Sometimes it's nice to just put it in "D" and cruise...and other options are always good.

Never. You would have to take my legs, then I would drive doing hand stands.
