I luv HIDzzzzz!!! Dubbers Story....
Alright, I am trying to do a massive amount of research on this, and i am sure i dont understand all of the factors that are a part of this.
What ive learned - and i hope i can get backup from someone about the validity of these statements.
Ebay projector housings are not worthy of buying unless they are glass. Most ebay purchases will crack and break within a year or so - thus nullifying my money.
Realistically the only real way to improve light emitted from my car is to do projector set up.
I had bought really nice Philips lights and they were decent. Also cost me 64 dollars or something around there.
I am looking into the projectors because if it would be near 200 dollars or so to get into a projector set up it would be worth it rather than spending 70 on a lesser light emitting bulb.
The idea of being near 200 dollars does not seem overly likely.
Does anyone have any projector housing or anything i might be able to buy off of them?
Or, as i think i am coming around too, should i just buy another sylvania bulb and wait till it dies again to do the whole charade again?
Would i be able to sell my stock Headlights for any money? I did not see anyone on vortex selling them, so i dont have a reasonable idea as to what they may go for.
Thanks =)

im sure you could sell the old ones, theyre 500+ to replace, and they get cloudy if not taken care of, people come to me almost everyday wanting (new lenses) not realizing they have to get the whole housing, when i tell em 5 hundo i get the old your f*ckin crazy eye and they leave
as for projectors, i only know my anchient vw technology for the most part, to HID a rabbit you only need some BMW E30 projector lenses and a sly hand.

PIAAs have always been a let down and not worth $90 IMO. HIDs with projectors FTW.

The ebay kit you linked me has bulbs in it, do i need to buy the DDM kit as well? or is it already included with the lights

You'll have two sets of bulbs - use the ones that come with the DDM kit. I don't know why they would sell housings with lows already with them, unless you already had the ballasts, which you don't.

Or if the lows are incandescent bulbs, and that is what they refer to as projectors?

Yeah, that is what Iwas thinking. Halogens in projector housings. That is all that makes sense for the price.
