I don't think any of them will hurt it, if they are done well. What is your ultimate goal with them? Are you going to paint or powdercoat them? I got my wheels blasted, prepped and powdercoated for $200.00. But that was a few years ago, so I have no idea what they would charge now.

DO NOT bead or sand blast them. It will permanently pit the aluminum my friend.
Were you thinking of polishing them?

powdercoat them - I was told $200 here in town for all 4 to be prepped and pc'd - that was a few months ago. I think the guy I spoke to said he media blasts with walnut shells or something so it won't pit alloy wheels. Best thing to do is pick up the phone and call around.

FWIW I have seen many bike frames with alloy's of all kinds that have been PC'd and they have all looked really nice. the color choice is huge and I'm sure you can get flat, satin or gloss finish.

Go PC, wheels are easy to chip etc. PC is alot stronger and if you blast them, the (pitting) will come through the paint. pc is easy to clean and live with too.

Brandon = King of PC

I almost forgot about all your 16v alloy parts - they all look sooo nice. Spence just stop being cheap and break out the pocketbook. You would have what...$300 into a set of PC'd baller wheels??? cheap!

Get your calipers done at the same time. :thumbsup:
