Mike is right, you are going to have to spend some money on these, if you want them to come out right. I wise man once said

I don't see why I cannot paint them.. If the paint that was on them held up that well, I don't see why my paint wont...Rennwagen1 wrote:Mike is right, you are going to have to spend some money on these, if you want them to come out right. I wise man once said

Re: Rims/sand blasting...
Well nobody said you couldn't paint them. But having them blasted will probably cost at least a Ben ($100), then you need to have them painted, which may be $200+ depending on paint and labor. Versus if you have them PD'd you get them blasted and coated for around $200. And the PC will hold up much better than paint.
When 3 people tell you to get them PC's I'd say thats pretty sound advice. It's your arm and your $$ tho
Call around and get some quotes - I'm interested in what you find and to see the results

Hey Spence. Spend the money you cheap ass!
Powder-coated wheels will last years.
Painted wheels won't last a year. The clear on my wheels was chipped and peeling after 6 months on brand new wheels.
Save your arm and money in the long run, PC.
