I love the look of the black and polished intake manifold. I was gonna polish mine too, but then I read that by closing the cast of the metal you hold in a lot more heat. Some people noticed a loss of hp. And I would like to go turbo so heat will be the enemy. God they look so good though.....

He is so right. We talked about this when I was putting on the samco hoses. I thought I changed out everything I needed to (all the housings,O rings, ect.) and my secondary water pump started leaking. lol thankfully that is really easy to swap. Do it now while it is easy :) looks good

oh yeah, that and the crack pipe will be replaced, the intake was done powdercoat first then using a palm orbital sander with 80-200 grit paper and water, + about 3 hours of matts life, he got the intake.
working on the wiring now, finally found an ECU pinout for motronic m3.8.1 and will go from there, wiring nightmare pics to follow tomorrow, as well as a few more updated pics
