Re: fiberglass camper top
Hi, The bus is/was Mexican beige and it would be cool to have it painted nicely. It is just that it needs a lot of work to get it ready to be painted correctly. For example it needs all new window seals and there is evidence of rust in many places, so I was just thinking of a simple cheap paint job while I worked on the interior/electrical system this summer and maybe next year get the bodywork done. I am on a tight budget so things have to be planned accordingly. My son, dubber, is a big help but I have little mechanical skill. However, I do cook pretty well and would always be willing to trade dinner for VW work and I love to watch/help and learn. Thanks for the tips on removing the paint on the camper top,

Sounds good man! I'm sure Brandon and me could get together in my garage with you and have it down in a weekend easy. I'm sure we could keep your total cost under $100 too.

Hey, thanks for all the feedback on my camper top problem. I will try the goof off first but if not then I will try to get it painted. I really don't want to put much time or money on the paint job right now, my bus has higher priorities and I am on a budget but thanks for all the support.

Sounds good Randy! Give me a ring if you want to borrow some Goof Off and a helping hand.
