My bumper is done with paint! I can pick it up today. My downpipe has a leak and is currently 75% done with welding. My buddy is doing it and it being a bish for some reason, he's having to go slowly at 40 amps. No idea why. But I can refit the bumper now while he's finishing the job. If all goes well you guys might see me on sunday's GTG.

Project Stage 2+ was completed last night. It feels so good to drive her again. I was laughing out loud all the way down the onramp, she flat out flys now. Next mod will be a thorough cleaning, dirt and saw dust aren't a good look for her.

Saturday I installed a 25mm (up from 15) rear swaybar.
I don't think I will be able to really notice the difference until the 1st autocross.

I replaced all the coolant hoses on the MK1 GTI. I also put in a low temp thermostat and a low temp fan switch, new radiator cap and put in new Zerex G-05 coolant. Runs waaay cooler now. Perfect to autocrossing in 100 degree heat!! Drove it home and bounced to some Jay-Z.

Pulled all the injectors on the GTI, cleaned injectors and shrouds, put new o-rings and seals on injectors and shrouds, installed Fox manifold. Eliminated all(at least I hope)of the vacuum leaks. Adjusted rear drums, did preliminary checks for annual tech inspection for the autocross club next saturday. Car runs awesome now, better than it ever has.....
