wtb B4 sunroof w/ track

New here, thanks for the forum, and thanks MTghetto for the parts.

I am looking for a new sunroof assy. for my wagon. Do A3's share the same?

Broken glass. Stuck in 2/3 open position. Can I take out the broken glass and remove the track from the top now that it shattered yesterday or do I still need to remove the headliner?

you wil probably have to remove the headliner. I have done a couple replacements in Jettas, and you have to take them out, you would be surprised just how large a sunroof mechanism is for such a small peice of glass....trust me, it will save you time, as well as your headliner if you remove it.

Thanks, that was what I was thinking but I'm always looking for an easier way.

Still looking for a complete sunroof. Or I'll buy a complete VR6 wagon in green if anyone has one.

Try Spaldings in SPokane, I have replaced sunroofs that the customer has sourced from them. They even sent all the bolts that they took out when uninsalling it!
