Re: Rollin' Coal
I've got a comment on the stack, it's sick! They need to pipe it out the side though. Or do true duals out in front of the back wheels haha.

Or just do like the sled pullers, have a single stack coming right out of the hood!Checkers wrote:I've got a comment on the stack, it's sick! They need to pipe it out the side though. Or do true duals out in front of the back wheels haha.

Josh, how do you feel about the evyr mod? I'm thinking I may have to try it and maybe come over for a dyno roll.
These #'s look tempting:

Re: Rollin' Coal
I actually ran the evry mod for awhile. You can definitely feel the difference. The biggest thing with the evry mod is you need a switch so you can turn it off before starting your car. Otherwise you'll throw a CEL. I have a half finished setup with a 555 timer that I was going to put in mine. That way I could program it to kick on, say a minute, after I turn on the car. I never turned it up enough to ever cause the "warp field collapse" but I definitely saw an increase in smoke. I have yet to confirm it, but I believe the Tunit Box is basically just a fancy version of the evry mod. It's set up to not throw the CEL, and also has different resistant settings to turn up the fuel. I would say go for it, but I would get a boost and EGT gauge hooked up to keep an eye on things. A pretty common mod combo is and evry mod and a 3 bar MAP sensor. That way you get more air with the additional fuel you're adding to cut down the smoke.MT-Getto wrote:Josh, how do you feel about the evyr mod? Cool, I will take that as your blessing and do this
I am going to use this setup. Do you know if I need to add another o2 fitting to add EGT?

Re: Rollin' Coal
This upcoming week I plan on ordering a few things for my car. One of them is a Thermocouple from Starting Line Products (they do stuff for snowmobiles). I'm picking one up @ dealer cost @ $38 plus shipping. I gotta run and pick up the wife and kids, but when I get back I'll post some picks of where I plan on installing mine. BTW an 02 bung is way too big for a thermocouple.
