was this a canada only deal on the mk3? theres a gls down at JJ's used cars that has heated cloth seats

That would be a GLS, it should have everything a GLX had, except the VR6 adn leather. The Cold weather package(heated seats, nozzles, mirrors) was available on them as well.

Never buy a vw from a used car dealer. I did once before I knew anything. $1350 for a well used 87 GL
