Another Newbie... I've got some questions

Hey guys, i'm new to this site and have been looking for some help with my 95 Jetta. i would like to do performance upgrades but don't know where to start.... my car is stock and I've had it for about a year and would love to sink some money into. ANY advice helps, thanks!

I"ve got the 2.0 with a 5 speed, its the GL model if that helps any.

How much are you willing to spend and what is your mechanical ability?

Are you looking to do power, handling, or appearance modifications?

im looking to do some power, as far as money goes i cant spend a whole lot but i can do enough. and my mechanical ability is pretty good... not the greatest tho.

it should be OBD1. you can turbo it ;) Or do some good old Intake, Chip and Exhaust action.

what would you recommend for a good turbo, chip and exhaust? i dont wanna get crap :mrgreen:
