it was a problem with the early westmorland rabbits. donno why just seems like they get affected the worse.

mainly what ya gotta look for in any mk1 is saggy doors, strut tower rot, inner fender rot, rocker pinch weld rust, rear apron rust also behind the rear arches, also look at the windshield channel, floors, a-arm mounts, also give the fuse box a good lookover and look for burnt wires..

then again its nothing i wouldn't check with any other old vw

If I hadn't bought a new laptop a few months back I'd have the cash to pick it up, now I have to wait until later today to find out if I have the cash to grab it. Asked the owner of the motel I've worked at for a year and a half if he could loan me the cash for it and take payments out of my checks. He just has to check with his business partners, then he'll let me know. Not getting my hopes up just yet, if it turns out I can't get it I'll just pick one up later

Update on this, just heard from my boss that he hasn't talked to his business partner yet and will let me know on Monday. If nothing else, I can start saving again and just pick up a Jetta (what I really want) later on.

Well, finally heard back on this. I can get a loan from my boss if I find another since that rabbit is gone. If anyone finds a good deal on something let me know! Walking to work is ftl
