Friend sold me this car. Got it home, looked at my 6 other cars, and decided that I dont have the time/cash to invest in this. (yes I made a thread about a ABA swap.
What I know about the car:
-It starts and can be moved.
-S/C is not blown but is in need of a rebuild. I believe it is only making about 4psi.
-Engine was replaced a few years ago. not sure why.
-The hood latch cable is broke.
-There is no rust that I can see on the car.
-The car was not properly lifted and the lower passanger side lift point is dented.
-No fluid leaks in the engine bay except where a fuel line that connects to the FPR need a new clamp.
-The PO replaced the heater core. the old core was leaking severly. Some loose ends under the dash need adressed.
The car comes with lots of suspension parts/tune up parts/orginal hood/orginal tails lights/ and other parts that will be in the pix. Interior is in good condition.
I can take more pix for those that are interested. I will also answer any question you may have to the my best knowledge.
I do not have a clue what happened to the intake side of the S/C.
Car is located in Minot, ND. I will be willing to transport it to you for mileage plus hotel costs.
$1200 obo or trade for another VW.
I am not interested in parting out. I dont have a garage and parting out will be difficult for me to accomplish.
