Rings on or off?

Post by Ramrod »

I put my rings back on my custom grill last night. Did a little modifying and now I can take them on and off easily with 4 small zip ties. I'm trying to decide which I like better.

Thoughts?

I say leave 'em off and debadge the trunk completely and when stupid people at the gas station ask you what kind of car it is, tell them it is a european spec Porsche sedan that you imported in from Germany. You would be surprised. It works. People are dumb.

Someone should pshop them off the upper grill and onto the lower middle grill. I wonder what it would look like. Probably weird, but it would be interesting to see.

What ever you want man, I like mine with the rings, but with your bumper it might change things... but don't debadge the back like aeron suggested.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm glad I made them so they are an easy on an off. I'm leaning towards off. Rear badges are staying. Lower grill is too rice for me.

Renn, we need to talk about some smoke covers for my fog lights, or at least clear. I'm leaning towards smoke because they are really bright anyway, and I'd like to tone down the blue lenses a bit. But I'm not sure how much output I'd be giving up.
