Arm rest (in peace)

Post by squabeggs »

My arm rest decided to crap the bed today. Good old high quality german plastic. Anyone got a spare, or know of a local part-out (black interior). Trying to avoid the 'tex if at all possible. Was also thinking of the arm rest delete, but I'm not sold on that yet either.
Lid is all broken up and shedding its cloth...

..The hinge slots broke apart, so I can't just get a new lid...it would still flop around.

Mk4 plastic FTL  I've got the rad bare metal seatbelt receivers too.

Dood you tear your shit up man. I didn't have any problems with my MKIV interior, but you can get a replacement armrest from any junkyard, but the vortex has the best part outs I know about if you want something used.

Treat it like a lady bro! :D

I think I'm at least the 3rd owner of this car, so I take no responsibility. :p

Shouldn't the title of this thread be ARM REST (in pieces)?

I might just be splitting hairs here...

I got my replacement when I broke mine off Ebay. I think I paid about $60 shipped for the entire assembly IIRC?

^^ Did you get it from Hong Kong? About 8 million of them on Ebay from said location...starting @ $4.99 + 54.00 shipping.

Sorry for the delayed reply.
It wasn't one of the ones from Hong Kong. It's an OEM one. Maybe I just got lucky?
