I am betting its not supposed to boost as high as you think it is...you should call your chip manufacturer and tell them the model number off your chip and check for sure. Because your car seems to run fine in stock mode but the chipped mode just isnt running up to what you thought it was going to.

Im thinking just the added boost is causing it to leak... but im not sure.
Ryan, ive been thinking about building that pressure tester, but ive been too busy recently and lazy also. When I get back im probably going to do it.
Question about it: when you hook the pressure tester up and feed the pressure in, what do you look for? How do you find where the leak is?

Rusty, I haven't done it, but from the descripitons I've read the first thing your looking for is for it to obviously not hold pressure. Next it's a matter of working your way back down the system, feeling for leaks. Then you could always use the old soapy water trick to see if you can pin point the leak once you feel it. I've heard the professionals can use smoke to find the leaks.
It still seems odd that you don't have issue with it in stock mode, but perhaps it's so small, that you just can't notice it. Have you contacted APR? They might be able to point you in the right direction.

Hey Rusty, did you ever get your boost issue figured out? I'm getting throttle cut at WOT when I'm in chipped mode. I'm working on getting a VAGcom so I can sort out the problem. Stock mode is normal.
