I didn't have the time to take pics before I got it back together. I just had another kid and what little free time I had is now gone. I have to make some time to change my oil and glow plugs here real soon, and get my snow tires on, and try and get my door sensors fixed . If I get a chance I'll get around to taking some of it apart for pics.

So I am bringing this up because I had to clean mine and it looked exactly like DynoJetta's intake. My question is now with ULSD some are saying that this shouldn't be a future problem but is that really true? I got the car at 57k in 05 when we had ULSD and used a diesel concentrate addative and it still plugged up.
Do an EGR delete and you'll never have to worry about it. Until you either eliminate the soot coming in with the Exhaust Gas or the oil mist coming in from the CCV you'll get buildup. EGR delete eliminates the soot, an oil catch can would eliminate the oil.
I did take some pictures recently of my EGR all cleaned up... I'll have to find them and update my original post...
