So I've been lookin' around and weighing my options, and I've decided that this little Audi needs more get-up-and-go. So over the next few months I'm gonna be piecing together a new turbo setup. Nothing special at this time cuz I don't wanna do too much. The list is gonna be long and spendy, but that's how it goes with horsepower.

GTRS Elim. Kit - $1,600 (new)
FMIC - Undecided, but looking to spend about $500 if I can
Clutch - Southbend Stage 3 - $450
Brakes - Not too sure at the moment, a lot of choices
What ever gauges I may need, or want
Gonna try to find an S4 bumper to replace my damaged front bumper.
Car will need paint eventually.
New wheels (I already miss my RS4's that I sold to Mike, lol)
Snub mount
A.W.E. Drive train stabilizer
Motor mounts
Tranny mounts
JHM Shift kit
Diverter Valve
Turbo inlet pipe
A decent tune
Replace all vacuum lines
Test pipe probably, maybe even a full exhaust
And who knows what else.

I'm gonna start sourcing parts, buying used stuff when I can. I can't wait to get some POWER! lol

seriously, look into some APR stuff, go to aprtuning.com or youtube and watch their vids, that stage 3 looks worth every dime, and nets you close to 400hp.

Oh I'll probably go with Revo, but I'm just shopping around a little to see if anybody can catch my interest. (That'll be hard considering that I prefer being able to actually talk to somebody and be able to drive up to Missoula to have it done by the pro's)

Yeah, I've looked at their Stage III kit and I'm quite impressed. Keep in mind that at this point, all this is barely a plan. lol. Most of the stuff I'm planning on getting is stuff that I need regardless of what kit I go with. And it also highly depends on if I can find group buys on stuff, or if somebody is parting ways with quality things for a good price.

Edit - If I can source the GTRS setup for less money than the APR kit, I think that'll be a big deciding factor

Add built up internals to that list if you want to go over ~350bhp and not break something.

If I can get my old motor that I spun a bearing in up here and have a place to keep it, I'm gonna use that to build up a motor. But I have no where to put it, and she needs some serious work. haha. I wanna build a nice solid bottom end with a slight over bore. This car MIGHT see some autocross action, but for the most part it's gonna be something to eat Honda's and shit with.

And with the APR Stage III kit Brandon, they claim only 280hp on 91 octane. The GTRS kit could do that just as easily, and possibly without the big price tag. And if I go with the GTRS I'm gonna go through Aeron and get a Revo tune to keep it fairly tame. I should be able to source the GTRS kit a little easier since I can pick up bits and pieces, but I have yet to really make up my mind.
