I plan on running the wheel all year around and just swapping tires for summer. I think that they are MB. Dont know too much about wheels. they were the least expensive pare that i liked.

Made a rear caliper tool, had to use quick grips to make it work. The thread of the bolt didn't keep up with how fast the piston retracted. But i spent $8 dollars on it compared to $45 for the real tool. Works really well.

The jetta is back on the ground. Used the old shocks for now, just so i can move it around. Made a tool to position the rear beam pivot. Leveled the beam with some bricks and floor jack then used a protractor, some string, a nut, and gravity to double check i had the angle right.

The brake caliper kit from Harbor freight is often on sale, well worth the $20. Nice work.

Got back and crackin on the body work. Did all the welding in the bay, filled some holes that i was not going to be using, removed the lips on the frame rails, cut out a rusty part under the battery replaced it, welded up the side trim and spoiler holes. Next grinding and smoothing it all out. Also picked up a ski sock for the back seat.
