Pioneer AVG-VDP1

Post by Johnny Chopsticks »

It's basically a real-time Vehicle Dynamics Processor that is no longer manufactured. It's fully compatable with my AVH-P7500DVD HU. Does anyone know where I can find one of these without an outrageous price tag? (nudges Aeron)

They are occasionally on ebay for >$250, but that's just too high for me (especially in used condition).

Here's all the specs from Pioneer's webpage:

I would install that in a heartbeat - I love gadgets. For me though it would be one of those useful/useless things. Do I really need to know skid pad info on my drive to work? No....YES YES I DO... :p

Mike, my thoughts exactly. I don't REALLY need it, but I do at the same time!

So, due to my mad skills on teh internets, I picked up one of these babies...

Just got it in the mail today. I paid $240 (shipping included) for this one, which is BRAND NEW IN BOX!

The wiring harness sure looks like a nightmare though... I'll have to do some major wiring research on my car before I attempt this. :retard:

It's electrical. I confirmed it in the wiring diagram shown above.
