My 020 is holding its paint just fine! but it does look like shit after a few miles. im going powdercoat on the 02A. looks real good Jason, the wiring, there is aftermarket available. such as a Painless universal kit, like Jake used on his brown rabbit, i believe Aeron wired that sucka so maybe hell chime in. cant wait to see more progress on this! mk2 dash swap looks better than any ive ever done too!

If you could find a part number i'd buy ya some beer! I've been looking on their site and only finding universal kits(which may be what you guys used?).
Also thanks for the hookup on that dash Aeron!

I don't want to get this tranny powdercoated, i'll wait for an upgraded tranny and i'll PC it.
The 020 that I have is extrememly clean so I might just leave it unpainted for now. Who knows. Only the future will tell! :)

I used a 12 circuit universal Painless harness. They are really easy to use, they just take a long time to re-wire a car, you know? I think I used this one, but I will have to check the box to be sure.

Been out working on getting the crud out from around the windshield frame. That crap is nasty sticky.
Gonna grind out the small bits of surface rust around it and prime today.
Got caught up watching this bad ass Olympic hockey game though. USA just tied it up in the last seconds to send it to overtime!!! So while I'm watching OT i'll post up some pix of recent parts I got in.
