Well as of now, it appears that I will be going with DDM 55w hi/low H4 (6000K) for my headlights and Raptor 35w H3 (5000K) for my foglights (which are currently out of stock). I'll probably also order a HID kit wiring harness from them, but it too is out of stock. :\ I'll probably also order some spare bulbs just to be safe. I won't order until I hear from Aeron of course!

No longer a noob!

Ya know, I won't be able to beat that pricing at all. That is ebay pricing form a legit source!! If Mikey likes 'em, then I say go for it. Hell for 50 bucks, I might even give them a shot.

Order placed. Ran me close to $200 for everything, but that's a steal when comparing to Philips kits for $270, headlights only (without wire harness, foglight HIDs, or spare bulbs)!

Hell yeah I will! I'm going to order some E-codes tomorrow. I have 3M headlight protectors I've been waiting to install on a worthy pair of headlights.

Looked up some websites for E-code 7" round lenses.

For Bosch (pair for $44.95):

For Hella ($38.46 each):
http://www.rallylights.com/hella/HeadlampsMain.aspx

I ordered the Hella headlights from RallyLights.com. Online reviews tend to lean more toward the Hellas (sharper cut-off for oncoming traffic). Also, RallyLights has tons of positive reviews on different forums.

I got my HID stuff in the mail Thursday. Below are also some pics of the headlight kit installed in my current lenses (until the e-codes come in). I'll be installing the foglight kit sometime soon.

Image
DDM Slim 55W Hi/Low 6000K. The plastic enclosure over the bulbs is to protect them until installation, and is discarded.

35W Raptor 5000K

I ordered one of these wiring harnesses so I wouldn't fry my original headlight wiring harness. However, I didn't know that my slim ballasts already came with one. So now I have an extra one (specifically for H4). :\

Image
I was a little worried about the H4 bulbs when I first looked at them- they are a bit longer than standard H4 filament bulbs. This is because these bulbs are Hi/Low, and uses a magnet to actually move the bulbs. I did a test fit, and they (surprisingly) fit just fine.

Image
The camera made the bulbs look elliptical, probably due to how f***in' bright these babies are. (And this is just the Low Beam!)

Sure thing Spence. I'm assuming you mean 640x480 (for message boards)?

BTW, E-Codes will be arriving tomorrow!
