I went with one Raptor Kit used in my fogs - 35W 5K and one Slim ballast Kit 55W 6K for the lows.

I found out that my girlfriend's 97 Subaru Legacy uses H4 bulbs like my 944 so I bought another slim 55w Hi/Low kit for her (so I can have a replacement if we ever sell the car)...

So I contacted DDM about returning the foglight kit and bulbs due to the xenon bulbs being too long. They emailed me back that I would have to pay for shipping there (obviously), but also a 20% restocking fee. Screw that! So I decided to make the foglights work...

I modified some washers to fit as a spacer for the bulbs with a Dremel. Worked out really nice. The bulbs no longer touch the metal either!

Below is a comparison between the original bulb and the 35w HID kit. The passenger side is the HID kit, of course.

The light output from the HID kit is amazingly brighter.

3/4 of the way done!

I finished the last foglight yesterday. I'll take some final pics and post them soon. Looking forward to permanently blinding deer and giving oncoming traffic victims 3rd degree burns!
