Two weeks ago, I replaced the quantity adjuster seals on my 1998 tdi injector pump. The procedure was easier than I thought- the directions on tdiclub.com are great. The only snafu came when I dropped my home-made anti-tamper socket and had trouble finding it. Two trips from Bozeman to Missoula and back (800 miles) and still no leaks!!
Big thanks to MT-Getto for the vag-com help.
IP seal replacement.

Welcome! Life's been keeping me busy, so haven't spent too much time on the board lately. Good to see some more diesel blood on here!

Re: IP seal replacement.
What is your new diesel and where is it leaking?
If it is a Bosch VE pump and leaking above or below the quantity adjuster, resealing is easy and seals are cheap.
Here is the thread I used to guide me: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=262019
and a sticky that has some more good info: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=45870
