next GTG's?
when is the next GTG's? I should be running in the next week or two, wish I could have made YNP, my motor should be here next week, Monday I think, I guess it depends on the condition it's in, with 41k I don't expect to have to bore it, though getting 82.5mm forged pistons is harder to find, ether come from Germany (Wossner) or have made by JE, 10 days ether way! EuroSunday should be doable July 4th, just wanted to know what all the up and coming GTG's will be, check the GTG forums with no luck!

Re: next GTG's?
LOL.....hay thank's! my rocco would appreciate that! I will be spending the YNP weekend working on the motor, or at least finishing removing it and fixing the head then getting ready for the new motor to arrive, if I had other transportation I would go! just wasn't in the cards, heck! just think if it would have blown on the trip! lucky in that sense, it would have cost more to get it home than replacing the motor, anyway! I look forward to some GTGs this summer and a more reliable set up with the engine, and it will give me an opportunity to clean up the engine bay a little better, you know! that waxy weird stuff they dump all over the place from the factory, any tips getting that stuff off would be nice!kompressorgolf wrote:maybe he could meet up in butte? and catch a ride in the convoy? well have a bozeman GTG specially for you and your rocco as soon as its ready to ride, when it comes to meeting new folks, well gather the masses and greets!

I used propane heat, but then again i didnt care about oem paint..... if you dont mind a respray of the bay use a small propane bottle to melt it, then wipe it out with a shitty rag.
